Outrights

Outrights are winner-of-the-competition markets - who wins the league, the tournament, the race - the term used in soccer, golf, tennis, and motorsport for what US sports call futures. One multi-way market, settled when the competition ends.

In practice

Outright markets are many-runner and high-margin: a 156-player golf field or a 20-team league table sums to a large overround, and long-shot prices carry most of it (favorite-longshot bias). Exchange-traded outrights (see exchange) typically price the same market much tighter than fixed-odds books.

Where it shows up in ParlayAPI

Outright markets carry the outrights-style keys in the market catalog (/v1/meta/markets), following the-odds-api conventions so drop-in integrations keep working. As with all multi-way markets, devig across the whole field - not one price at a time - to recover fair probabilities.
